1. About This Policy

R-ai Technologies Limited (R-ai) conducts all our business in an honest and ethical manner and is committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

This policy sets out our responsibilities, and those working for and on our behalf, in observing and upholding our position on modern slavery and human trafficking. It also provides information on how to identify and report concerns regarding modern slavery and human trafficking.

This policy applies to all R-ai Technologies employees, officers, directors, contractors, consultants, agency workers, volunteers, interns and any other individuals working on behalf of R-ai Technologies worldwide.

Any employee who breaches this policy may face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal for gross misconduct. Any non-employee who breaches this policy may have their contract terminated with immediate effect.

2. Anti-Slavery Principles

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. These crimes exist across the world, including in the UK, and can occur in any business sector.

R-ai Technologies will take action to identify, prevent and mitigate modern slavery risks in our operations and supply chains. We will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

As part of our efforts, we have implemented the following due diligence processes:

2.1 Due Diligence Processes

Conducting risk assessments to determine which parts of our business and which suppliers are most at risk.

Engaging with suppliers to convey our anti-slavery policy and understand measures they have taken.

Building long-standing relationships with local suppliers and clearly communicating our expectations of business behaviour.

Where international supply chains are used, preferring UK-based entities or branches and expecting them to have suitable policies and processes in place.

2.2 Training & Communication

Providing training to all staff to ensure a high level of understanding of modern slavery risks in our business and supply chains.

Communicating our commitment to all suppliers, contractors and business partners at the outset and on an ongoing basis.

3. Your Responsibilities

The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working for or on behalf of R-ai Technologies.

You must follow this policy at all times and avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach.

Report any cases where you know, or have reason to believe, modern slavery has occurred, in accordance with the Whistleblowing Policy.
